Wi-Fi (Access Point Mode)
The Duo has a built-in Wi-Fi access point which will allow access to the Duo’s WebApp, which can be used for both configuration and control.
It is also possible to set up the Duo to connect to an existing Wi-Fi network. This is covered in the later section titled “Connect the Duo to an existing Wi-Fi network (Bridge Mode)"
Quick Access: You can easily connect to the Duo using a mobile device by scanning the connect QR code:
- Scan the connect QR code on the bottom of the Duo
- When you see an alert on your mobile device asking if you want to connect to the Duo’s network tap on “Join
👆🏼 Note the Wi-Fi SSID is unique for each Duo and is printed on the information label. When multiple Duo’s are in range of your mobile device be sure to connect to the correct SSID of the Duo you wish to connect to or control 👆🏼
Manual Connection: If you wish to connect to the Duo from a PC then you can connect directly to the Duo’s Access Point
- From your computer → connect to your Duo’s Access Point with SSID indicated in the sticker.
🟢 The Status Indicator on the Duo will show you the Wi-Fi connection status 🟢
Connect to the Duo via Ethernet
👆🏼 The Ethernet connection has priority over the WiFi connection. This means that if you’d connect the controller by ethernet, the access point will bedisabled.👆🏼

Ethernet
The Duo has an integrated RJ45 Ethernet socket for wired IP network connections. This is recommended connection use when using the Duo as a streaming controller or ArtNet Node. The Ethernet connection will also allow access to the Duo’s WebApp, which can be used for both configuration and control.
👆🏼 Ethernet has priority over the WiFi connection.
If you connect the Duo using Ethernet, WiFi will be disabled.👆🏼

Connect the Duo to an existing Wi-Fi network (Bridge Mode)
First, you must connect to the Duo’s WebApp via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. This will allow you to access the Duo’s settings.
👆🏼 You can do this using either a mobile device or a PC connected to the Duo via Ethernet or to the Duo’s Wi-Fi in Access Point Mode 👆🏼
In the Duo’s WebApp when accessing the Wi-Fi configuration you will be able to see the following information about the Duo.
👆🏼 In the image above you can see that the Duo is connected to a Wi-Fi network with SSID ProtoPixel and has and IP address of 192.168.10.61
The SSID and IP address shown when you log into the WebApp will be dependent on the network that you connect the Duo to 👆🏼
