Requirements

To use the Gate Casambi, certain hardware, network, and software requirements must be met. These ensure a correct setup and smooth integration of Casambi devices into a Protopixel installation.

Hardware Requirements

Core Equipment

• PoE Switch, required to power the Gate Casambi

Compatible Devices

• Casambi devices with white or tunable white (TW) profiles
• Casambi keypads, supported for an improved local control

Network and Configuration Requirements

• A Casambi network, with all devices added
• Devices must be fully functional within the Casambi App before attempting integration
• A stable network connection between all devices is essential

Software Tools

• Casambi App (iOS / Android) for initial configuration of Casambi devices
• Project Tool version 25.10 or later for the final integration into a Protopixel project
