Access the settings via the WebApp
To make changes to the settings of the Duo you will need to Access the WebApp via a browser on your computer or mobile device.
Network Settings
In the Settings Menu you will find the Network Configuration Section
Wi-Fi settings
Ethernet MAC address
This is the device’s unique MAC address and is unmodifiable
Enable DHCP
enable/disable dynamic IP address
Current IP
This show the current IP address assigned to the Duo. The default IP address for the Duo is 192.168.4.1 which is what it will revert to when the device is Factory Reset .
Static IP
This is used to either manually configure a static IP address when DHCP is turned off or as a fallback address when DHCP is enable but doesn’t work (e.g. there is no network device in the network that you have connected the Duo to which is assigning DHCP addresses. Changes will not be applied until you reboot
Subnet Mask
This should be configured to your networks settings when using static IP addresses configured in the Duo the default setting is 255.255.255.0
Access the settings from the Mapping Tool software
When working with multiple ProtoPixel Controllers within the Mapping Tool it is very convenient to be able to access the settings directly from the software. To access the settings:
1. On the menu bar click on “Window”
2. Within the “Window” pop-up click devices
3. The new Window that opens will show all the accessible devices on the network.
4. Click on the device that you wish to configure. This will bring up the all of the settings for the Duo which can then be configured accordingly.
Firmware Update
Firmware updates are periodically made available if there are changes to operation of the Duo. You can check the last firmware version here.
To upload new firmware browse to the location of the firmware file on your device and click “Open”. The LED will start blinking during the process.
