The Scheduler allows you to schedule events flexibly. To create one, first access the Scheduler module from the main menu. Once you're in, you can start the process by clicking the button "Create event".
When creating an event, you’ll need to assign it a name and set the exact time it should start. By default, if you only define a start time, the event will trigger a one-time action at that moment.
If needed, you can also set an end time. When an end time is defined, the event will remain active during that time window. The total duration is automatically calculated based on the start and end times you enter. This option is useful in scenarios where you need to keep an action active for a specific period to maintain a state.
When setting up your event, you have the option to make it recurrent. Several predefined frequency options are available, such as daily, weekly, or monthly. You can also select "Custom", which lets you define exactly how often the event should repeat. With the custom option, you can specify the days of the week when the event will occur and set an end condition. The end of the recurrence can be configured as "Never" (the event repeats indefinitely), "On" (you choose a specific end date), or "After" (you specify the number of times the event should repeat).
Finally, you'll need to select the action the event should trigger. Available actions include "Apply Mood", "Turn on Space", "Turn off Space", and "Enable CLC". Once the action is selected, you can choose whether it should apply to a specific space or to the entire installation, depending on your setup and needs.
Once all the parameters are set, simply save the event to schedule it in the system.
👆🏻 Note: The functionality to create recurrent instances is available from platform version 25.7 or above. 👆🏻
