Gate SPI Wired Overview

Thank you for choosing the Protopixel Gate SPI Wired, the most flexible and powerful LED controller for small to medium size installations.

The Gate SPI Wired is dual output pixel LED controller with an integrated micro SD card reader and is capable of controlling the most popular pixel IC’s through Ethernet or Wi-Fi.

This Gate can control a total of 2400 RGB pixels or 1800 RGBW pixels split between its two LED outputs. It supports two streaming modes (Protopixel or Art-Net), both of which are converted to SPI output. 

The Gate SPI Wired can be used in three different ways:

• A Standalone Controller, where sequences recorded using the Protopixel Mapping Tool software can be replayed using an intuitive web app.
• A Streaming Controller, when used in conjunction with Protopixel Mapping Tool or a Protopixel Brain Experience.
• An Art-Net Node via Wi-Fi or Ethernet from a third-party controller.
