Remove a Shelly Wireless Digital Input from an installation

Before removing a Shelly Wireless Digital Input, it's important to consider how your installation is set up. If it’s a wireless-only installation created using the Protopixel App, the removal process must be done entirely from the app. If your setup includes a Protopixel Brain, the removal process must be done using the Project Tool.

Remove element from the ProtoPixel App

Start by opening the menu and selecting "Manage Installation". Once inside, go to the "Manage" section and tap on the element you wish to remove.

       

After selecting the device, tap "Delete Device".

       

A confirmation alert will appear; first tap "Confirm", then "Delete" to finalise the action.

       

After removal, the Shelly Wireless Digital Input will be free to use again in any new installation you choose.

Remove element from the Project Tool

Start by selecting the device you want to remove. You can do this either from the elements list or by clicking directly on the device in the floor plan if it's been placed there. Once selected, go to the inspector panel and choose the option "Remove element from installation".

A confirmation message will appear where you'll need to confirm the action by clicking "Delete".

After confirming, the element will be completely removed from the installation, along with any spaces, moods, or behaviours it was associated with.

Once removed, the Shelly Wireless Digital Input is free to be added to any new installation.
