Organize
When you create a project, it is grouped into a workspace called Global Space, where you can divide and group your Elements, creating new Spaces. For example, you can create a new section that groups certain elements and call it “kitchen”
What is a Space?
A Space will be a section of your Global project composed by the Elements that you decide to include.
What kind of Spaces can you create?
You can organize multiple Spaces in your Global Space and organize the control of your project divided in sections. From the Manager's view, you can also make the Spaces invisible to the end users.
Steps
A Space is created from existing components. These can be Elements, Zones, or, other Spaces. With this functionality, you can organize the project in control sectors.
From the ProtoPixel Mapping Tool
- Open an existing project with the Mapping Tool, from the menu bar go to Window > Spaces App. Access to advanced configuration by taping on the three dots and selecting view as Manager.
- Select Global space, use the
+
button to create a new Space. Name it the new Space and select the elements to include in, and continue.
You can also create new spaces by accessing the Spaces App from your device.
Connect with the Node accessing through his hotspot. Access to advanced setting activating the view as Manager.
Select the Space where you want to create another new Space. If you haven't created one yet, you'll only see the Global Space.
- Tap on the Space, use the
+
button to create a new Space, Name it, and continue. - Select the Elements to include in the new Space, and confirm with Build Space.
